Mine was an electric.. an american stratocaster, it's real sick.. it's actually gone up in value 250 dollars, my next guitar was a shitty ibanez acoustic/electric (A/E240) and my next was a martin dreadnought.. I still use my father's 1952 american vintage telecaster (keith richards played this one for a real long time)

I bought my first guitar in 1968 for $200,(thanks to Jimi for the inspiration) a Conqueror hollow body electric with a whammy bar. I still have it, it is my main axe, I play it several times a week. I've had others since, but they come and go, the Conqueror remains.
